The end of summer :(

So my friends, I'm the worst blogger on earth :(
I don't know if I feel like I don't have time to blog or if I don't want to?
I started out so well...idk what happened :/

So....this is my last week of summer :(

Next week is the beginning of school....boo

However, it is MY SENIOR YEAR!!!!!!!!!

I am extremely excited about that!!

My husband, the soccer star, has been kinda MIA lately for soccer two-a-days....I've been doing the whole "living on my own" thing for a couple weeks now, and I must admit, I'm glad that I never actually did it.  I mean, before Jimmy and I got married we had the apartment for 22 days which I "lived" in by myselft, but I spent most of my nights at Jimmy's parents house :)

I don't really have much to blog about because I feel like my life has been boring lately.....

I am going thrift shopping on Saturday, so I may blog about my finds :)

Until next time....I will be at work....bored out of my mind!!!!

Birthdays Continued...

Well the birthday festivities are over :(
Time to get back to the real world.

We had a cookout for my birthday on thursday evening, which was delicious food thanks to my husband, the chef :)

Friday, which was my actual birthday, I spent the day shopping with my bestie :)

But before I forget, look at my gift!!!!!! :)

Beautiful right?  They were delivered right to my house :) and the note said, "I love you baby!  See you in two days!" Ahh he's the best :)

My bestie, Amanda, and I went to Rick and Stacy Cessna's wedding that night.  Long drive but beautiful wedding :)

Beautiful bride :)

This is my best friend Amanda Patrick.  She is also like my twin :)

My horrible, painful sunburn from driving :(  yeah, and my arm wasn't even out the window!

Saturday, I spent the day with my in-law family :)

Sunday I worshipped and relaxed :)

I have not spent the night with Jimmy since thursday night because he has to stay with his teammates throughout soccer training.

Here goes another night of being a soccer widow :(

Birthdays :)

Aren't birthdays the best?

A WHOLE day just to celebrate the day that you were born :)

This week is filled with birthdays!  Jimmy's was yesterday, his brother's is today, and mine is on friday! :)

So....Yesterday was Jimmy's 21st birthday!!!

We had to work all day :/  However, around 12, I told him that I was gonna go outside and call the electric company.  But really I sprinted to the car and went to get some of his favorites for lunch :)

Pizza, peach rings, arnold palmer, and cinnamon rolls....a lunch made for a king! lol

Jimmy played soccer that night, and I stayed home and got all prettied up for our date :)

We went to Olive Garden...mmmmm!

We came home and he hung out with his guy friends, and now tonight....

is party night numero dos!!!!

20 Minutes to Blog

Since the husband and I do not have internet at home, it is very hard for me to blog all the time.  However, we are at work nearly everyday, so I should be better at it, but I'm not :/

Anyway, we close in like 20 minutes, so I'm gonna see what I can cover in that short amount of time.

This weekend was LOTS of fun!

After work on friday Jimmy and I seriously just laid around the house watching How I Met Your Mother and eating Chinese food. :)  I love relaxing days!!!!

Saturday was my friend Chelsie's wedding.  I loved her color scheme!  She had pink and white and grey going on.  Down the isles were little lantern things with this lace stuff with rose petals inside, it was beautiful even though my description makes it sound lame. lol

Here's the happy couple. :) ADORABALE!!!

Saturday night we had a sleepover at our friend's house, Liesi and Stuart, and our other friend Lacey was there too (minus her hubs Mike because he had best man duties to attend to).

I don't know if I have laughed that much in a while.  It was so much fun to relax with other married people that just "get" us because they're just like us (as in young married couple).

That morning I had to be a church at 9 am and since they live in Canal Winchester, I had to wake up really early!!!

It felt a lot like a one night stand ;)

Jimmy and I slipped out before they were even awake.

We spent Sunday at Jimmy's parents house.  We had a delicious cookout and I ate the hottest Jalepeno I've ever had in my entire life! And I eat jalepenos like candy!  My mouth was on fire so I drank tons of milk.  I have never had to admit defeat like that before. EVER.

Today my sister and I went to see my Grandma Charlotte.  Her birthday was last week and we decided to head up today.  And she's making my sister a dress for vacation.  She also made us Chicken and noodles. (YUMMY!)

and now i'm at work, getting ready to close.

Guess I can cover a lot of my life in about, 15 mins :)

Oh yeah, Jimmy's 21st bday is tomorrow!!!!!!!!

And my 20th is friday.  not as exciting as 21, but still my day of birth :)

I will have LOTS to talk about this week :)

And So My Life Begins...

Do you ever have that feeling that you never seem to get the reward at the end of your work?

Like school for example.  It feels like you spend so much time and SO MUCH money to get a degree to do what?  Work in your field?  When you don't have a specific major like teaching, or nursing, or those, "I want to be a (insert obvious profession here) when I grow up," it's hard to know what you are going to do with your life.

Well my friends, I am proud to say, my life has begun!

I just got accepted for an internship with a company called Conflict Analysis and Intervention Group (CAAIG for short).

"Conflict Analysis and Intervention Group (CAAIG) is a U.S.-based Limited Liability Company with a Middle East North Africa (MENA) regional office in Beirut, Lebanon. Our mission is to transform conflict and manage emergencies through in-depth assessments and targetted interventions, curriculum design, capacity building, and cross-cultural engagement."
(This is taken directly from the website.)

I'm pretty excited about this internship because it directly deals with emergency management, which if you didn't know, is my major.  :)

If you want to check it out, here is the website.

And this specifically is my biography.

I'm excited to see where God is leading me within this major :)

Short Little Vacations...

Wowsa!  I have not blogged in such a long time!  I have had a pretty spectacular weekend too :)

Thursday

My best friend from high school, Richelle, came to visit me :)

Richelle and I go way back....well, since junior year of high school.  We played basketball together and became really close on our senior trip to Spain.  Since then, she's been my bestie :)

Since there's about nothing to do in Circleville, we went to Grove City.

Yeah, we had Cane's, the best chicken fingers and dipping sauce on earth.

We went to this place called Put-N-Play and went to the batting cages.

Then it was Richelle's bright idea to watch a scary movie....bad idea!  See, I'm absolutely terrified of like, well, EVERYTHING!

I decided we should watch Jennifer's Body because it didn't look that scary....WRONG I'm pretty sure I watched the whole thing with a blanket over my face.  I only saw one scary part, and it haunted me the rest of the night!  Richelle was pretty brave about it, except for the fact that we were cuddled up with each other. haha

Friday

Friday night was my friend Stacy Moody's, almost Cessna, bachelorette party!

The games that we played that night we so funny!  Let's just say I won some Mardi Gras beads that evening ;)

After Stacy's bachelorette party, Jimmy and I drove to Columbus to stay the night with his family.

For some odd reason, his siblings and I have this game we play called SlapsBasically, you just slap everyone else as hard as you can.  You do get to wear a pillow over your belly though.  However, back slaps hurt the worst!

That's just a couple of the battle wounds.  We had to quit though because Jimmy's little brother started crying.  It was kinda my fault.  I was slapping him REALLY hard on the stomach, which wouldn't hurt at all because his pillow was there, however, he put his hands right in my line of fire.  His hand was blood red! We had to quit after that. :(

Saturday

The reason Jimmy and I stayed the night was because we were all going to Kings Island on Saturday! :)

Breakfast :)

 Going into the park :)
(This is actually the second time though)

Ready to swim :)

Just off the water ride :)

Right off the water ride as well :)

:D

Our cute little family :)

Sunday

Lazy day....I did absolutely nothing! :) Except church and cooking, but isn't that just perfect :)

I hope you all had a Spectacular weekend like I did :)
