First of all, on the way to the campsite, or Bekah's home, the sunset was AMAZING!!!! I love being able to look at the sun and seing how AMAZING our God is! It was like the sunset filled the entire sky with reds, yellows, purples, and oranges. Ahh, it was GORGEOUS!!!!
I took all the good pictures of the sunset on Jimmy's phone (which are the first two) because he was using mine for GPS, but this is towards the end of it (the last not so good one).
We ate sunflower seeds on the way there :) (Yummy!) This is my skill of cracking the shell and eating the seed. I haven't been able to do this for very long. haha
When we arrived at the campsite (or Bekah's house) it was time to begin. Jimmy and I sang the Revelation Song, and Bekah sang a song in Spanish, that I didn't know but it was beautiful!
Bekah gave her testimony, in Spanish (she's awesome!). Although I didn't understand all of it, I did understand that it was something about playing the piano, and she said she only played classical music. And I also understood that she said she's was scared a lot. But that's about it :)
Jimmy gave his testimony, in Spanish as well (he's pretty awesome too ;) ). He was supposed to talk about dreams, but I don't know if he did or not because I couldn't understand him! I didn understand that he read about putting on the Armor of God (well maybe).
I was supposed to talk about waiting for the right person. And I had to have a translator. Wow, was this hard! I NEVER get nervous to speak or sing in front of people, but I was so nervous for some reason! Well Pastora (the Pastor's wife) began translating for me. This made me even more nervous for some reason so I begged Jimmy to do it for me. It was quite funny when he had to talk about my previous relationships with guys, but he was very mature about it. :) Ahhh, I love him! :)
After the worship and testimonies, we just hung out with all the kids. Most of them speak English, so it wasn't as bad as you would think. And my little sister (in-law), Yami, is always looking out for me :)
I love campfires!
My camera (which is my phone) wasn't doing too well adjusting to the darkness.
I love this picture because it makes me laugh. This is my little sister :) This picture doesn't do her justice becaus she's beautiful :)
I'm so glad that I waited for the right man and that God brought us together.
We made a pretty good team that night :)
(Oh yeah, and we're going back to help out tonight, so hopefully, I'll have some more to post!)
